Our Team

Jason brings over two decades of experience as an Environmental Scientist, specializing in wildlife and ecosystem management and ecological restoration in western Canada. Jason has worked with the Canadian Wildlife Service, conducting research on various species at risk and identifying approaches to effectively manage and conserve habitat in BC. Jason has been a private environmental consultant and also spent over a decade consulting with large environmental firms, working on both federal and provincially led environmental assessments, municipal projects and large projects within the oil and gas and mining sectors in BC. Additionally, Jason spent nearly ten years providing instruction in the Ecological Restoration Program at the BC Institute of Technology.

Jason has a Master of Science in Environment & Management from Royal Roads University in Victoria in addition to an applied science diploma in Fish and Wildlife Management from the BC Institute of Technology.

Jason joined The Nature Trust in 2019.
