Erin Koga

GIS Technician

Erin Koga grew up in Maple Ridge and currently lives in Langley.  She has a B.Sc. in Biology from UBC and recently completed an Advanced Diploma in GIS at BCIT.  In university, Erin developed an interest in ecology and aquatic biology while working as a summer student for DFO and assisting UBC graduate students with riparian and stream ecology field research projects.  Prior to her GIS studies, Erin spent several years working in environmental consulting where she primarily focused on fish and aquatic habitat.  She worked on a variety of projects throughout northern Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Nunavut.  Erin recently switched her career focus to GIS and is excited to be working in the conservation field.  In her spare time Erin enjoys travelling, playing soccer, and skiing.
