Dominique Bowden

Digital Engagement Coordinator

Dominique was born and raised in Santa Ana, California before moving to BC in 2015. They have a B.A. in Honours Anthropology and Linguistics from University of British Columbia, and a background in fine arts. Professionally, Dominique has worked in communications, design, and recruitment for a variety of organizations throughout the United States and Canada.

Dominique began their journey into conservation in 2020, working with the B.C. Wildlife Federation. She supported the communications needs of the Federation as well as the collaborative Wetlands Workforce project, where she had the opportunity to design the five-million-dollar project’s logo. At the B.C. Wildlife Federation, they also served on the organization’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee.

In her spare time, Dominique enjoys ceramics, skiing, swimming, painting, and live music.
