Claire Ethier

South Coast Field Operations Coordinator

Claire Ethier’s strong passion for conserving BC’s diverse ecosystems drew her to the Nature Trust of BC. Claire grew up in in Victoria, BC and completed a B.Sc. in Biology at the University of Victoria. During her undergraduate degree, Claire focused on ecology and conservation biology and completed her undergraduate thesis on changes in moose habitat selection following wolf control in a highly industrialized landscape. In her previous roles with the federal government she contributed to a long-term songbird monitoring project, vegetation classification surveys and several mountain pine beetle studies. Claire brings her educational background along with strong fieldwork skills to her role as South Coast Field Operations Coordinator with the Nature Trust of BC.
