Restoration, Monitoring, Inventory Biologist

Peter has over 10 years of experience in environmental management and conservation working in a diversity of ecosystems, from estuaries and forests to grasslands. He has extensive experience in developing, implementing and monitoring ecosystem restoration projects in coastal ecosystems.  These projects range from breaching dikes to restoring floodplain forests. He has worked in long-term environmental monitoring including monitoring boreal forest ecosystems in the Yukon and estuaries along the coast of BC. Peter has a passion for restoring and conserving coastal ecosystems, and is grateful for the opportunity to work in such beautiful areas across the province.

Peter holds a Master of Science in Botany from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from The King’s University.

Peter joined the West Coast Conservation Land Management Program in 2017.
