Bill Bennett

Bill Bennett is a retired Member of the Legislative Assembly and Cabinet Minister. He lives in Cranbrook amongst some of The Nature Trust’s many Kootenay land holdings. As a young man, Bill owned and operated fly-in wilderness lodges. He earned a law degree at age 42 and served as MLA for Kootenay East for 16 years. Bill has been minister responsible for Energy & Mines; Tourism, Local Government and chaired many government and legislative committees. Bill is a life-long hunter and angler who cherishes wild places.

Bill has been a Director since 2017.
