The Nature Trust of British Columbia (NTBC) is a leader in land conservation in the province. We are a non-profit, non-advocacy group that seeks a balance between sustaining our environment and sustaining our economy. We acquire ecologically significant land and then manage this land in order to protect the natural diversity of wildlife and plants, and their critical habitats. The Nature Trust carries out land management activities on conservation properties throughout the province, including the Okanagan region.

Job Description:

As part of the Okanagan Conservation Youth Crew (CYC), based in Penticton, you will assist in a variety of land management activities. Crew members will work under the direction of the CYC Crew Lead and Okanagan Conservation Field Operations Technician. As a CYC member, you will be an important part of a small team responsible for implementing a variety of work projects including: habitat enhancement, research studies, and routine land management—operation and maintenance — activities, while also acting as ambassadors for conservation with the community and peers.
